Dougie is a sweet, lovable male Spaniel mix that is about 4 years old. He weighs approximately 14.5 pounds. He was recently rescued from the West Valley Animal Shelter, where he was consistently overlooked because of his cherry eye condition.

Don't worry, his foster mama had surgery to have that corrected and he now has his (new) sights set on a forever home. He's housebroken, good with other dogs and gets along well with his foster brother, a small Morkie.

He loves walks, cuddles, and belly rubs from anyone willing to give them! He needs a home with older teens or adults (no kids). He's not a barker so perfect if you have an apartment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dougie, a Studio City Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Studio City, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Studio City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Studio City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Studio City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Studio City paves the way for another one to be saved.
