Please give a warm welcome to Kola, one of our new rescue arrivals! At nearly two years old, Kola is starting the search for her forever home in the Seattle area. This sweet Schnauzer mix girl has had some experiences in her past that have caused her to be extremely fearful of new situations and people. Because of this, Kola needs someone to help her become more brave so that she can learn to trust humans again and start to enjoy the many things her life could offer! Kola benefits best from a slow approach, so a patient adopter is needed so that she can be given the space and the time that she needs to grow more comfortable. Since Kola enjoys treats, some yummy nummies would be a great tool to help in gaining her faith and rewarding her for the strides she makes towards confidence! Another doggie companion in the home might also help in growing her self-assuredness, as Kola can look to her buddy to know what is safe and worth her affection. Because of the extent of Kola’s fear, she requires a home without any children, but with the right trusted adult we know that Kola will flourish and find the life that she truly deserves!
