My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bongo, born December, 2015, is a very handsome Shepherd/Bernese Mountain Dog mix--vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered. Bongo is a sweet boy who injured his tail and spent sometime in the hospital; before having to have the end amputated. He spent time recovering in a foster home where he has proven himself to be a very intelligent, affectionate canine who always wants to please.
Bongo loves to learn and would thoroughly enjoy an active home that would do doggie activities with him . . . He works very hard for bits of cheese and chicken!
A sweet, gentle boy, Bongo would like an adult dog savvy home with a fenced yard so that he can play safely while his family is working or relaxing in the out-of-doors.. If you are looking for a jogging or walking buddy, Bongo would be the perfect companion as he is always up for an adventure.
Visit our active, gentle, affectionate Bongo and we know that his big brown eyes will steal your heart.
For more information, visit with Bongo, in our Adoption Centre, at the SPCA of Western Quebec, 659 Auguste Mondoux, just off the Pink Road, in the Aylmer Sector of the City of Gatineau.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ACTIVE FAMILY THAT HAS A HOME WITH A FENCED YARD FOR OUR BONGO
