Joy was picked up as a feral kitten and is quickly learning that a human's home is a safe and fun place to be! She still tends to run when approached and is skittish but can be picked up when she is sleepy. Once held, she purrs constantly and loves to lay on your chest and nuzzle!
Her fur is luxurious and thick. Joy LOVES to climb and explore and adores the foster family's cat. She doesn't care for dogs right now, but we are working on that! She will take some more time to adjust to life indoors with humans and will need lots of patience. She probably is not suited for a home with young children. She is so loving and you can tell she WANTS to be with you but is still not quite brave enough to do the approaching. Her foster family is certain she will grow to be a great lap cat.Adoption fee of $125.00 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.
