Hello, I'm Doc. I am a 38 year old Yellow Nape Amazon, no one knows but me if I am a male or female. I came to Beak n Wings because my owner wasn't comfortable handling a large bird and she wanted me to have more attention. I am enjoying spending time in the facility with my new friend, Dean. I am entertaining to be around, I like to roar like a dinosaur and make other funny sounds. I even say a few words. I will take some time to adjust to new people, but once I am comfortable I don't mind being handled by those I like. Because I am choosy about my friends, I would not be good for an inexperienced bird owner. My adoption fee is $450.
