My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This cutie is named LEONARDO. He is an 13 lb miniature poodle, estimated to be about 5 yrs old. He is in excellent health, however he is blind and lost both eyes. He navigates well, and is totally house-trained. He has never had an accident in the house since coming into rescue.

LEONARDO loves to be close to his human. The foster says that he is a `cozy` dog. Because of his blindness, he is afraid to walk on a leash; does well in a fenced yard. He responds well to voices.

LEONARDO needs a home with someone to spend time with him, reassure him and help him adjust to a new home environment. He loves your lap or snuggling with a stuffed animal.

He is currently being fostered in DUVAL county.
