My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SUNSHINE is a 2 1/2 year old neutered yellow male Lab who weighs 68 pounds. Shadow is the dog you want! He is very easy, friendly with everyone and his tail is always wagging. Thinks getting attention is great and rewards you with a nice lab lean and kisses. He likes to be with you, enjoys retrieving, swimming and going for rides. He has learned the kennel routine and enjoys going out to play with the other lab rescue dogs. He needs a home that has a fenced yard so he can play and run around without wandering off. He will make someone a very nice companion. He has been around a lot of the neighborhood kids but never lived with any. Good with other dogs, lived with one. Didn't chase the outside cats. Knows sit down and come. Pulls some on lead, better with an Easy Walk Harness. Reported as house and crate trained by owner, keeping room clean at the kennel. Shadow is approved for kids ages 10+. More info soon!!

Shadow was given up because of owners financial hard times. Shadow came home with his other dog about 18 months ago and stayed around so he took him in. Owner thinks he was about a year old then. He was an inside-outside dog. Before we got him he kept going off to visit the neighbors and play with their kids but kept getting picked up by Animal Control and owner couldn't pay his fine so asked us to find him a home.
