Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When little Lola came to BRHS after her owner passed away, it was clear she was shell-shocked by finding herself at a shelter. Highly stressed and scared, she would swat at anyone who tried to pet her in her cage. Despite her bravado, we had a feeling a sweet kitty lived under the tough exterior. We found a larger, quieter space for Lola, and an amazing transformation took place! Lola now begs for attention, jumps up on your lap, and gets so excited for company that she flops around like a little fish. Lola still has her guard up at times, and so would do best with someone who has had cats before or who aced Kitty Body Language 101 (is that a thing?).
Lola is petite little girl, clocking in around 7 pounds and is around 2 years old. She has had mixed reactions when seeing other cats, but we think she would probably do best on her own. Lola wants love SO badly and the rewards of her trust will be huge! Lola is living is on her own bachelorette pad, so if you're interested in making this little gymnast a permanent part of your family, stop by and ask to meet her! Since Lola is part white, her adoption fee is 1/2 off in January!
