Everest Miller's Story...
**********SWEET AND LOVING**********

Everest is a 5 year old maltese looking for her forever home. She is a sweet and cuddly girl. She is doing well with her house training and leash training. She does require a fenced in yard.

Puppy mill girls require patience and extra TLC. These ladies haven't known a kind, gentle touch or even the feel of grass on their feet. Your love and devotion will change your mill girl and your mill girl will change you.

Everest is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm test, microchipped, on flea and heartworm preventative, groomed and ready for her new home.

Adoption Donation is $250.00

If you are interested in meeting Everest please complete an application by going to www.sassrescue.com/adopt follow the directions on submitting the application and we will contact you IF your application has been approved.

We are a volunteer based rescue. Please be patient with us. It normally takes 2-4 days to approve your application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Everest Miller, a Urbana Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Urbana, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Urbana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Urbana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Urbana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Urbana paves the way for another one to be saved.
