My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Everyone that meets Gator has fallen in love with him! He's about a year old and had a good upbringing. He is very playful, loving, cuddly, fun-loving dog.

He would be the perfect fit for an active family! After a long walk he loves to take even longer naps. He's great with other dogs and pretty good with cats.

He was surrender as a 7 month old for having resource guarding issues. Meaning, if he is enjoying a rawhide or a bone, he prefers to be left alone. We've trained him at our facility to freely give up things to use, like rawhides, bones and toys. Even so, in the home setting it's best to only give him these items when he is kenneled to enjoy them uninterrupted. HE is a VERY nice dog and loves peope and does well in our doggy daycare with other dogs. He's just born sort of alpha in his personality and tends to covet the yummy treats he's given.

His adoption comes with a home visit, a microchip, and up to date vaccinations. I know once you meet him you’ll fall just like we did!
