Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PRINCE is a 10 month old aussie/shep mix? (shown here with his brother Maverick) who was saved once as 3 month old puppies. Sometimes these poor dogs have to bounce around a little before they find their permanent homes. PRINCE weighs 43 lbs and has a bobbed tail (we think someone cut it off) When he was rescued as a puppy, he had burns on his front and back paws. His temporary family took good care of him and he learned to trust and have fun with play with people again. As a matter of fact, too much fun. When his mom and dad were at work, he'd escape from the yard and wander the neighborhood. So he and his brother were surrendered to us to find just the right home. PRINCE is currently in our PAWS BEHIND BARS prison dog training program and is continuing to blossom and grow. He will mature to just at 50 lbs and should make a great family companion for an active family. He should be just fine with kids.
