My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Holly and the wonderful people at DLRR have rescued me from a mediocre life at the pound in Casa Grande and put me in a foster home with two brothers and a sister! The shelter veterinarian put that I was 7 years old on my paperwork (probably because I was in such un-cared-for condition!) but my veterinarian here in Tucson thinks I'm closer to 3-4 years old. My foster mom thinks I'm a six month old puppy stuck in an adult body (how CRAZY is she?) Anyway, I'm still getting to know my foster family and the life that I should have had all along. I feel kind of out of place because my two brothers are black labs and my sister is a shepherd/chow mix and I'm a chocolate color where I have hair but my doctor and foster mom think that with the proper care I should be able to recover and have the wonderful coat that most labs have. I have mastered the doggy-door, have proven that I'm housebroken and I love to counter-surf when there's food around. My foster brother is teaching me how to play but I'm not too sure about that yet. I'm 67 pounds right now but need to gain a couple (not many!) If you think I would be a good forever dog for you, please let me know--I would love to meet you!
