My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MAXINE is a 5 year old spayed chocolate female Lab who weighs 84 pounds. Maxine was a stray to the shelter but no one came to claim her. She is a beautiful, sweet, and friendly girl. Maxine is quite the lover and enjoys giving and receiving affection. She gets along great with other dogs and loves all people. She would probably do just fine with cats as she just ignored the foster cat. Maxine is a strong girl who could use some leash training so a harness is recommended. She is house and crate trained. She does not need a fenced yard. There is no history of Maxine living with children so she is approved for ages 10+.

From the transporter: Maxine rode in the back seat easily. She stood a good part of the way but was calm and quiet. Maxine rode with another dog and they quickly became friends, kissing through the crate. Maxine is quite the snuggler. She kissed us all the way to the vet and would nuzzle my arm for pets. I fell in love with her – she will be a great dog for a very lucky family!
