My story

AARF only adopts in Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding area.

Aurora is a German Shepherd Mix, 45lb. We think she’s about a year old. This little girl is lively, spirited, affectionate, and athletic. She loves to jog but she’ll also curl up beside you.

She was scared and anxious when she first came to us, but in foster care she has learned how to be a puppy again. She still a little nervous with unfamiliar dogs. She’s working on crate training and how to walk on a leash, and basic training.

Aurora is good with cats, children, and most other dogs.
