* Please apply online at www.6dogrees.com by doing so you will get a response quicker.
Meet Pichi! (pronounced Peach-Chi) She is a silly animated, 4 year old, 9-pound, spayed female Pug/Chihuahua. My adoption fee is $550. I like all people and should be placed in a home that is active, and includes her as part of the family. Pich love's cats, kids and would love to be a only dog as she really loves attention and humans! Pichi gets along well with other dogs. Pichi would benefit from a positive obedience training class to master recall, and basic obedience, as well as bonding with her new people. Pichi grumbles when she walks on a leash but it's not to be taken as negative. She walks well on a leash, and loves outings. Pichi is always up for a outing, or car ride. She is a super sweet girl, potty trained, and is a fast learner. She is food motivated. She is seeking a interactive, stable, routine home that will engage in play and daily walks.
Pichi is a very active girl full of happy energy. She love's to play and run with other dogs, and if you have a squeaky toy, she will play it like an instrument – she is talented! She knows how to sit quietly at your feet and wait for your attention.
I will require a grain-free diet to keep me healthy and my coat beautiful. Her coat is very short, and easy to maintain with nail trims and anal glands to be done by a professional groomer. me a quick bath, towel me off, and she is ready to go!
Pichi is crate trained, and will not make a peep when crated. She would much rather sleep on your bed and keep your toes warm.
Pichi is a rescue dog, and rescue dogs require routine and stability. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying. Ideally, Pichi should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours (she is learning about pottied training). Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview. Due to my size, I cannot go to a home with children under that age of 10 years old; I will also require a fully fenced yard so that I do not run away. I am curious, and this is all new to me. Fences help protect me and establish boundaries. The only exception will be in I am adopted by a family in a condo or apartment. Applications accepted online at 6dogrees.com. The adoption fee is $550. My adoption fee will go to save other dogs at the high-kill shelters in California and is fully tax deduction (my Rescue, 6dogrees Rescue is a 501c3), and will provide a donation receipt.
I am fostered in West Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com and we will review and get back to you promptly. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval.
The 550.00 adoption fee include: Neuter or spay, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance.
