Aurora's Story...
Aurura was found in Jemez Pueblo, NM, sleeping under a horse trailer and eagerly searching for food. She was reported to us, by a community member, and then she was immediately taken to Coronado Pet Hospital for veterinary care. At Coronado, she recieved her examination, vaccines, and worming. Since she is only ten-weeks-old, she is not spayed and we will delegate the task to her future adopter - with help from us. Aurora is currently in a foster home and here is what her foster parent had to say about her: "She is smart, submissive, affectionate, and quiet. She also enjoys playing with her toys and being a lap dog." Although she is a sweet, social puppy, she is still quite shy. But with socialization from her foster parents, Aurora's behavior will improve.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aurora, a Jemez Pueblo Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Jemez Pueblo, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Jemez Pueblo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jemez Pueblo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jemez Pueblo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jemez Pueblo paves the way for another one to be saved.
