My story

Hi my name is Scooter! I am a 7 yr old Shih tzu/yorkie. I was surrendered to the rescue because I had some skin issues and my family couldn't afford to treat them. The rescue got me the medical care I needed and I'm looking pretty good now! I don't really need anything special now for my skin. Just a good grooming and bath occasionally. I'm pretty laid-back at first but I will surprise you! Don't leave the gate open because I like a good run! I'm fine with other dogs or cats but I don't care if I'm an only dog. I love the attention. I'm house-broken (but I might mark a little at first), neutered, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. My foster family will even have me groomed before I'm adopted.
