Molly's Story...
Molly is a 9 year old Labrador, weighing around 95lbs, she has plenty of spunk and fun in her but is also loves her cuddle time. Molly knows her simple commands very well (sit, stay, come). She is very food driven so training work is easy with this gal. She does not chew or get into anything that are not her toys. Molly is a gentle giant, she is keenly aware of her larger size and will take care to tread carefully in tight quarters so that she doesn’t step on you or anything else, she is truly a sweet soul. When you first wake up in the morning or come home from work Molly is the first to greet you and loves to be right by your side, she also likes her space and you will often find her in another room by herself just relaxing.

We are currently working on loose leash walking with Molly and she will likely require some further training. She has never been create trained, upon leaving her alone, she will bark and howl a bit and then settle down. It would be recommended to at least gate her off initially when you leave or work on crate training.

Molly is part of a bonded pair with her sister Juno, these two have never been separated and will be adopted together. They are a wonderful pair together with such opposite personalities but so much to love about each of them!

Molly will warm up to other dogs but she takes a few days to do so. At first she is very shy and does not like other dogs in her space. With proper introduction she comes to love other dogs and has bonded well with her foster fur-sisters. She has not been tested around cats. Molly will gladly curl up on the couch with you or in bed but also will respect commands if you do not want her there. Molly and Juno grew up with children so they will do well with kids, because of their size kids over 5 years old are recommended.

If you want a pair that have lots of love in them these two are for you and they would love to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a New Boston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in New Boston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in New Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
