Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Unfortunately Bear has returned back to us because he was showing signs of resource guarding with food around other dogs and people. To re-iterate: While Bear has done amazing being around other dogs and cats he seems to have an issue when they come near his food. Bear has shown he does do well with kids and would make a great family dog. he has a very relaxed personality and is extremely easy going with everyone. He does walk good on a leash for a dog his size but will need someone strong enough to manage him. **AT THIS TIME WE ARE NOT GOING TO ACCEPT APPLICATIONS TO ANYONE WITH CHILDREN UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE AND VERY SITUATIONAL TO ANYONE WITH OTHER PETS** Bear is estimated to be around 9 years old, weighs 115 pounds, is up to date on his vaccines and neutered. He is heartworm positive and is currently receiving treatment. If you would like to know more about Bear please give us a call at 757-365-6318 or send us an email at animalservices@isleofwightus.net
