Rusty and his brother, Eddie, came to us after being thrown out of a car at an apartment complex: two tiny 8-week old babies tossed just like that. We took them in, cleaned them up, got them fat and happy, and now they're waiting for the ride of their lives up north to 2 families who will take them everywhere they go!
Rusty is a Pleaser!! While his brother Eddie jumps into everything head first, Rusty is happy to sit back and assess, and even learn from Eddie's mistakes! Rusty is a master at "EQ": he is great a reading the mood of the room and adapting himself to that. He adjusts so easily and naturally from rough house playing with Eddie, to relaxing with the big dogs, to learning new tricks with his humans. He loves it all! As far as puppies go Rusty is pretty relaxed and easy going. He seems to want to make everyone around him comfortable and happy. He is still a puppy though and does still have spurts of "The Zoomies" that he likes to blow off in the backyard chasing balls and playing tug with ropes. We think Rusty is about 4 months old, he weighs about 15 pounds and we think he'll be in the 35 - 40 pound range fully grown. We have no idea what his true mix is, but his feathery fur suggests maybe Spaniel/Border Collie/Aussie if we could choose 3!
