Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Masha is a gorgeous blue,7 and 1/2 year brood mom who just arrived from Kansas. She may do OK with small dogs , but she is not cat tolerant.
I'm blue. Actually, my fluffy Kansas fur is blue. I'm not blue at all. I'm always super happy. I love people and can't wait to start my pet adventure!
So far, I've been a racing dog (79 races) and raised a batch of racing puppies. It was a busy seven years, focusing on career and family. I'm so excited to see what retirement has to offer!
Sure, I'll want to take naps and lounge around some, but I also want to get out there and enjoy life. There are so many new things to see and do! I'm super jealous of the greyhounds who already found foster homes. I have good feeling that I'll find mine soon.
Maybe you should take me home this weekend to see what an awesome BFF I'm going to be.
Masha
FOSTER UPDATE:
Masha is a wonderful girl who will make someone very, very happy. Masha is very mellow and sweet, but literally prances when she is excited - she picks up her feet like a show horse - so adorable!
Masha is learning about mirrors - she is sure that if she could just climb over the bottom part of our huge leaner mirror, she could meet the greyhound on the other side - good thing the mirror is very heavy and attached securely to the wall!
Masha is confident, curious, and comfortable in new situations. She loves riding in the truck and exploring new places. Although Masha loves to walk or go on car adventures, she is also happy to lay around and nap.
Masha is calm around people and other dogs. She lets us know when she needs potty breaks, sleeps through the night and follows instructions.
On another note, she has been fine around small dogs, no aggression what so ever on neighborhood walks, and is only mildly interested in birds or rabbits, no chasing yet.
Masha loves to be loved. She likes everyone and everyone likes her, including strangers. Wow, she is a keeper!
