Avalon's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Avalon's Story...
Our Avalon is the sweetest little girl! With big, beautiful brown eyes, and soft orange fur, this gorgeous girl will melt your heart! Although she is a kitten, Avalon would prefer to lounge on her perch, or sweetly sit with you, getting her cuddles and scritches.

Because we are dedicated to not only the physical, but also the emotional well being of the cats and kittens in our care, Avalon will only be able to either be adopted with another kitten, or join another kitten or cat in your home. No exceptions.

If you would like to meet, and possibly adopt Avalon, please contact Cindy: (773)203-0215, or email: cindy@chicagocatrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Avalon, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
