My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pippi is red and a nearly 6 year old retired racer and brood mom. Her sister is Fergie. Pippi's small dog and cat status is not yet known. She will be available soon.

If you follow the SA Greys FB page, you may remember me. I asked y'all for help in picking a name. Pippi suited me best.

I don't have any stockings, long or short. I don't know why people keep asking about them. I ran 135 races, without socks, then raised fast puppies.

I was the second doggie from my haul picked to go to foster. The foster lady came to spa day and it was like a competition. She pet our fur, interviewed us and watched us as we visited the various spa day stations.

I made insightful statements about the importance of spay/neuter during the Q&A portion, and I was a good girl throughout spa day, even when the peoples splashed water on me. I was still super surprised when she announced I was the winner!

I went home with her right away. I like my greyhound foster sister, Sadie. She's going to teach me to be a good pet so I win the next forever home competition.

Thank Goodness The Competition Didn't Include a SwimSuit Contest, (Darn Those Puppies)

Pippi

P.S. I've attached a picture of me during the foster competition. Notice my model pose, with one foot in front of the other. It makes you took taller and thinner. So does walking a greyhound. Really.
