My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** ADOPTION PENDING *** Bailey is a handsome, very sweet, very shy 16 pound, 5 year old red longhaired dachshund. He is perfectly house trained, gets along with other smaller dogs, he has not been big dog or cat tested. Bailey walks nicely on leash and enjoys car rides. At the groomer he got a 5 star rating for being so good! His owner turned him in to a shelter because it was thought he may have had a back injury. During his time at the shelter and so far in his foster home no back issues have been noted. His neuro responses have been intact and normal and he has not shown any indications of pain. The home Bailey is best suited for will not have children under the age of 10 years old, it will have a securely fenced yard and ideally at least one person home more than gone. Bailey also needs someone who is willing to take him on daily walks and help him with his shyness/socialization.

To meet this darling dachshund an adoption application MUST be filled out and submitted. This can be done online at c2cdr.org. Bailey has been fully vetted including dental and microchip. His adoption fee is $225.00, his devotion is priceless.

Bailey is available for adoption within Colorado only. Applicants must be within a 2-3 hour drive from Boulder.
