My name is Gilly!

Domestic Shorthair Cat for adoption in Elyria, Ohio - Gilly

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Gilly's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Gilly's Story...
Gilbert is available for adoption through ES. He is about 2-3 years old and was recently rescued as a stray. He's had a trip to the vet, and has been neutered, feline leukemia and FIV tested and is negative, and all shots are up to date.
Gill is a very personable and sweet kitty. He adores the affection and attention from his humans.
We are still getting to know his temperament around other cats and dogs. He seems to do well with the cats in his foster home but still needs some time to adjust to the dogs.
We are in the process of completing his worming regimen and after that he should be ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gilly, a Elyria Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
