A077419 Bruno's Story...
Duplicate Listing - BRUNO (A077419) - 4 year old male brindle Labrador Retriever mix currently located at the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter and has been attending adoption events with Heart of America Humane Society at Olathe Petsmart at 119th and Blackbob. Please contact the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter to find out when you can meet him at (816) 969-1640 and they are located at 1991 SE Hamblen Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64082. Bruno weighs around 50 pounds and is such a handsome boy. He knows sit. He is good with other dogs and loves to play with them. Bruno has a lot of energy. He does tend to pull on the leash when walking so he could benefit by using a harness and some leash training. He does tend to jump so probably best not in a home with small children. Bruno would make a great running partner and would do well in an active home or one with another dog to wear him out. He hasn't had any accidents at the adoption events so he may be housetrained. Please contact the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter to find out when and where you can meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

A077419 Bruno, a Overland Park Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
