My estimated birthdate is 03/27/2016 and I weigh 16 pounds. I was picked up as a stray and impounded at a large SPCA. No one claimed me. My time was up when Angels Rescuing Animals saw my picture and saved me.
My gene pool is wide and deep. I'm a mix of Chihuahua, Miniature Toy Poodle, Cocker Spaniel, Toy Fox Terrier and perhaps a little bit of Basenji.
I would like to be adopted to a home with an energetic playful dog that needs a play-buddy.
I love toys! A small "Chuck It" ball is my favorite ball to retrieve. Sometimes I don't know which toy to play with and like inspecting them all. I enjoy the company of adults and children as well as other dogs of any size to play with and snooze next to. I sleep quietly on my foster Mom's bed all night. I play with other dogs from 8 pounds to 50 pounds. My current best playmate is TIPTON, also on this website. [https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/36702196 ] I'm always ready for food or treats! I'm a good boy. I come when you call my name. I like going for walks and car rides.
I have been cat tested in a room with 5 dog-savvy cats. I think cats are curious creatures. I like to sniff them and occasionally I like grooming them.
My adoption fee is $ 250, a small price to pay for love, loyalty and companionship.
I am not the kind of dog to leave in the yard while children are in school and adults are at work. I require a securely fenced yard of appropriate size for potty and play. This may be modified under certain circumstances. A home check will be done and references checked. Applicants should live within 2 hours driving time of Auburn, CA.
