SHADOW's Story...
My name is Shadow and I am lab/shepherd mix (add whatever else you think he may be) who is in need of a foster or forever home. I am 3 years old and have spent the last 2 years on the end of a chain. My owner no loner had time for me and decided to dump me at a kill shelter where I spend 2 weeks on death row and was even given an extension so that I could have my second chance. I get along with dogs but have not been cat tested. I am skiddish of men and fast movements due to my past life but I am quick to warm up once I realize that you are not going to hurt me. I cower down and try to run away and dart to remove myself from the situation but show no aggression. I need someone who is willing to give me my second chance and help me learn to trust again and who will be patient with me as I learn. I promise I am worth it and I will not let you down.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SHADOW, a Williamsburg Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Williamsburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Williamsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williamsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williamsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williamsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
