Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Merlin PUPDATE (2/8/17) - Merlin is doing really well! He is in foster care to assist with his shyness and has determined that soft beds, couches, chew toys, and life in general are pretty darn fun! He is a quiet guy but so cute and sweet. Merlin is on a vitamin supplement to help his bones gain strength as they weren't healthy enough to carry the weight of a healthy body but he is doing wonderful and he'll be able to come off of supplements soon! He is ready for a forever home that will allow him to be a puppy and live the carefree life he never had before rescue. Love this sweet cuddlebug! Follow his progress on Facebook for updated photos! He is 12 weeks old guessed and ready for a loving family.
January 17- Merlin is a handsome and bony little boy who also came in with the other 12 pups. He is pretty shy and under socialized as well as underweight. He is getting extra TLC with Abelle. He was full of worms and hungry but he'll start to feel better soon. He's been on pretty close watch to make sure his body recovers and he is able to keep food in and water down. Poor guy is so hungry he eats too quickly so we are having to do small meals often. He is the sibling of Abelle, Fitch, Raven, Jude and Urie. These littles are so sweet and deserve forever homes.
If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped as well as other medical needs cared for prior to adoption.
*Breeds and mature sizes are not guaranteed, but a “best guess”. We have no idea who the parents of these sweet souls are. A female can also have several males sire a litter so they could all have different breeds.
*A fenced yard is required if a yard is present. If no yard due to apartment/condo, leash law and access to a dog park is required for adoption*
*No resident is guaranteed housetraining as we focus on major behavioral and medical rehabilitation. Basic training is also a great way for an adopter to bond with their adopted family member. Additionally, a dog displaying housetrained behaviors in rescue can regress in a new environment and routine.
