Brandy's Story...
Hi everyone! My name is Brandy and I have to confess... I love people...all people...young and older. I am the very best company, especially if you feel alone. I am always by your side. I have a gentle disposition and I'm always happy. So, you see, I'm good therapy for many things. I'm such a people person that I'd rather not stay alone by myself. I'm very comfortable if I have people around or even another dog to hang out with me. And speaking of other dogs, I get along with some dogs: I love my foster brother, who is also a small dog, but large dogs tend to scare me. My foster dad says that I am extremely obedient. I've learned to sit, when I want attention or want to say "please". I walk well on a leash and am no trouble in the house. Things that I like? I like learning new tricks, spending time playing, running, and TOYS! I love to play with chew doggy toys. I also love basking in the sun on the patio and taking rides in the car. My foster dad tells me that I am very smart, adorable, and extremely affectionate. Would you like to meet me? Please contact WAGS Fund by emailing

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandy, a Houston Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
