My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

From Angus's foster mom: Angus is the sweetest, most laid back cat I have ever met. Not one single time has he hissed or growled at me, or swiped at me. Not even the day I rescued this frightened little boy from the hallway! He regularly flops down and rolls over to offer up his belly for rubs. He likes to sleep on my bed at night usually touching my leg or on top of an ankle. He doesn't mind being picked up and carried or gently diverted when he is into something that he shouldn't be (like the dog's food). He likes to talk to me in the morning while I'm getting the wet food ready. He is fond of other cats; he desperately wants to play with my girls though neither one of them is having it just yet. He would be fine as the only cat but I think he would especially enjoy a young friend. He is okay with dogs. He was not initially a fan of my dog (who could not care less about cats), but he has learned over the last two weeks to sit and wait for the dog to bump into him rather than swatting at him immediately when his space is encroached. He eats well. He is litter trained. (I'm certain he was in a home before he randomly ended up in a hallway of my building because I never had to teach him to use the litter box.) He scratches only on the cat post, though once he tried to scratch a dining chair; I just picked him up and moved him to the scratch post, and he hasn't done it since. We play with the string on a stick, he likes to wrestle with toy mice and chase balls, and he loves to lick anything that has catnip on it or in it. He is really a very lovely, affectionate boy. Angus was born around 3/20/16.
