My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there!

My name is Toby. I was adopted by a wonderful family a few months ago, but unfortunately their work schedule changed and they were unable to keep me. We were all sad, but felt it would be best if RARE found me a new home. Since I am looking for a new family, I feel like I should tell you a little bit about myself. You should know what a wonderful boy I am before you rush to put in your application, right?!

I am very loyal. My favorite things are eating and playing with other pups. I love to wrestle around with my human and explore outside. I get along great with other dogs, after a proper introduction and love those little humans you call children. I am constantly on the lookout for a lap to curl up on so I can get a belly rub. I am leash trained, crate trained and potty trained. All I need now is a forever family. I would really like to have a doggy brother or sister in my new home and it would be great to have some little humans too. If you think I am right for your family, please contact RARE today.

My adoption fee is $200.00. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

*PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT RURALANIMALRESCUEEFFORT.ORG

**An application and home visit are required prior to adoption. All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have. Our ability to perform out of state adoptions is limited and reviewed on a case by case basis. If you are not in TN, please ask us about the potential of adopting the specific animal you are interested in.

Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heart-worm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption. Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE! Please visit www.RuralAnimalRescueEffort.org for foster and adoption applications or for additional information.

***Please Note*** The breeds noted are guesses on the part of the volunteers of RARE based on the physical characteristics of the particular animal. We are not breed experts and cannot afford to perform DNA tests; therefore, the noted breeds may not be exact.
