Breezy's Story...
These kitten boys are the perfect match for each other. These young kitty boys have medium length fur that is fuzzy and incredibly soft!

Breezy is a beautiful dark chocolate color – not quite black but actually brown which could indicate his lineage is that of the Havana Brown. He has a little white “shirt” peeking out on his chest, and soulful green eyes. Breezy is the more pensive and thoughtful guy, and he loves to be held like a baby, and often goes into a trance purring away.

Brother Blaze also has incredible markings – almost giraffe like with dark and light ginger colors and a “blaze” of white up the center of his forehead. He also has a little white shirt peeking from his suit and matching white gloves. His copper colored eyes are a perfect match with his fur!

Breezy and Blaze (aka B2) like to sleep together, and after they’re rested, they enjoy rough and tumble games with their toy mice, balls and dangly toys. They enjoy canned food along with a bit of dry food.

The boys came from a litter abandoned in a house when the resident vacated. Luckily an alert neighbor found them and took them in until 4Paws could help.

The boys were born in July 2016. They have been neutered, tested negative for FIV and FELV, are current on vaccinations, and have been micro chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Breezy, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
