Nala's Story...
My name is Nala and I was saved from my rescue along with my baby Spot that has since been adopted. I lived my whole life of 4 years tied to a tree with no vetting and very little human contact. My rescue took me to the vet and found out I was HW positive. I have started my HW treatment process and will be rid of these nasty worms soon. I am a sweet girl and have already got the hang of crate training and happy to report I'm now housebroken. I am so happy to be inside a real home now where I can lay on the carpet and take a nap on the couch. I know basic commands now like sit and howdy. Now I just need to find my forever home where I will never have to worry about being outdoors and unloved ever again. Can you help me find my forever home? My rescue says if someone is interested in me like some of the other HW positive dogs in rescue that has been adopted, I can go to a home with you but I will need to be keep me safe and calm during my resting time. I will retest soon and pray I am  negative. I really want a home so please don't pass me by.
Love,
Nala

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a High Point Pointer/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in High Point, or seeking a Pointer/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in High Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in High Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a High Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Pointer/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in High Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
