My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing a handsome love bug !!!

He is about 2/2.5 years old and weighs about 80 pounds

Cats are a NO GO

He is super lovable and enjoys interaction with us as well as strangers. Seems well socialized with people children and adults. He seems to be completely fine with other small dogs for sure. We have a male Schitzu and they've been really good with each other.

That being said, at the dog park it's been a really positive, with a few negative interactions, which probably could have been avoided. He definitely hasn't had nearly as much dog socializing and has some dog behaviors that need some additional boundaries and work. He enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes med/large but probably needs to be with less aggressive nature dogs, especially early on when interacting. He hasn't had one issue using the bathroom inside.

He isn't crate trained but we're working on that currently, slowly and steady. A family with a good size yard is gonna be a huge plus. He definitely needs a bone/chew to keep him stimulated during down time but hasn't chewed up or torn up anything but dog toys.

As is with most new dogs entering a family - proper integration and patience to adjusting to a new life is required - especially with a cattle dog.
