found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
ISKRA means “the spark” and this girl definitely has that! She is a sweet Russian Blue (her siblings were full blue in color), is an older kitten and is really the perfect cat! She’s well-mannered, quiet, waits her turn, and is really low maintenance and an easy “starter cat” for someone who has never had a cat before, has limited experience, or a smaller space such as a studio apartment.. She’s naturally healthy. She’s playful and can entertain herself and plays well with other animals too…she loves other animals – girl cats, boy cats, kittens, dogs – and she loves people and kids too! She can easily go to a home with other animals or be an only pet. She’s flexible like that! She makes many friends wherever she goes and she does so fairly quickly.
ISKRA is an introvert, so if you want to see her amazing qualities, you must be patient and wait a few weeks to let it all unfold. She is very neat and has never been destructive. She spent a week in a crate in one of her foster homes and never ever made a mess! This is highly unusual for a cat, let alone a cat this young. She’s very mellow, petite and quiet, but is still quite affectionate. Until she gets to know you, you may have to "make the first move", but once you do, you will be generously rewarded with boundless affection. ISKRA loves getting her head petted, will nose kiss you and lick your hand, and will curl up in the crook of your arm when you give her a shot.
ISKRA will spend hours on your lap if you let her. She really would love to be someone’s special princess, and loves having a pretty collar on to match her cute pink heart nose. She doesn’t fight with other animals over food – but she does love to be special and have her own special bowl/food and attention. She will sleep and snuggle with you, but in the beginning, it’s best to both let her unwind/decompress as well as sometimes invite her by picking her up and putting her next to you on the couch or bed/or in your lap.
ISKRA is curious but not overly so, so she can be left alone and trusted for long stretches of time. She is very loving and loves people very much, will give you kisses, hugs and snuggles, but is independent enough that you can leave her alone and she'd be happy while you are at work.
Once you and ISKRA get to know each other over a few days to a few weeks, she will flirt with you a lot! She’ll roll around and give you her belly. She's a total flirt. She is also really neat and not destructive in the least. She’s has a strong immune system, is very healthy and comes fully vetted – vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV, microchipped and spayed. She’s never once missed the litterbox. ISKRA is fully housetrained, always uses the litterbox, does not destroy furniture, or cause any issues with anyone.
âISKRA was rescued from a high kill shelter in the nick of time and is at a foster home, but is really hoping a wonderful person chooses her to be part of a loving forever family.
âBring some silly love and sweetness into your home today!
