Jonas is a male Schnauzer/Poodle mix puppy only 3 months old. Jonas is a big pup. Already, he is a solid 22 pounds and still a baby. Jonas's adult weight is estimated to be anywhere from 45-65+ pounds. He has a wonderful dusky blue/charcoal coat that is super soft and appears to be low or non-shedding. Jonas is one of a kind, no question about it. He is a gentle baby, very sweet, very submissive, and wants the love and comfort of people that he knows. Jonas identifies with his caretakers quickly and will stick to you like glue. He wags his tail slowly and can be an adorable goof. He likes to play with toys or other gentle canine friends. Jonas is so darling and innocent in his ways and only wants to please. He is great with other dogs and will play gently with very small dogs or bigger dogs. He doesn't care for rough play and will snuggle up close to your side if things get too rowdy. Jonas is learning good potty habits quickly and knows how to go outdoors. He will follow the other dogs around, learning from them, or he will try to understand your wishes by tilting his head to one side and gazing at you with his hazel green eyes. He is just almost too handsome for words. You will want to do anything for this baby boy once you meet him. Jonas walks slowly on leash and stays close to you in public. He likes to be carried, but he's getting a little big for that now. Jonas will snuggle and cuddle up, loving strokes on the head and being talked to. He will try to be in whatever room you are in and will let you know he's sad if he can't be with you by doing his little baby whine. If no one comes, he will reluctantly flop down in his bed with a toy, but he really wants to be with you all the time if possible. Jonas rides beautifully in the car without a peep. He is excellent with children and is going to make a lovely family pet. Jonas was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He will turn heads wherever you go and we are amazed he even ended up at the shelter. Jonas is very healthy and is ready for his new forever home today!
Jonas’s adoption donation is $550 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, UTD on VACCINATIONS, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Jonas is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.
