Carmella's Story...
Carmella is guessed to be about 11 months old. She is a sweet little girl that loves all people and loves other dogs. She is about 38 pounds of pure joy and we think she will be around a 45 to 50 pound pup when she is all grown up. We think she is a shepherd mix, but that is only a guess. Carmella came to us from a kill shelter in North Carolina and she needed out, since the shelter was totally full. She has typical puppy energy but knows how to calm down. When we ask her to “crate up” she goes into her crate with little to no problem. Carmella will also sit for treats and is doing really well walking on a leash. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmella, a Middletown Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
