What is your name? My name is Rain
How old are you? Approximately 8 months old
How much do you weigh? I weigh 50 lbs
What do you look like? I am white and blonde and petite
What do you like to eat? I love chicken but I eat grainfree food from Costco.
What kind of personality do you have? I'm a very sweet girl. I'm a little shy because I was never taught how to be around people but once I love you you're my best friend.
Describe your perfect day? My perfect day consist of cuddling on the couch with my foster mom, getting up to have a snack, and playing with my best friend Blu.
What is your favorite toy? Hands-down a stuffed Kong!
What scares you? Loud noises really scare me. And people who move to quickly. I like it when people go slow when they try to pet me.
What do you think of children? I like children when they're a little bit older like seven or eight. When little kids are too loud it scares me.
How do you feel about other dogs? I love other dogs. I really like puppies I'm very gentle with them.
How is your health? I'm really healthy.
Where do you hang out when you're at home alone? I hang out in my crate. I didn't like my crate when I first got to my foster mom's house but now I'm doing much better and it.
Who do you live with? I live with my foster mom and her son. I also live with five other dogs and two cats. But Blu is my best friend and is always there for me when I get scared.
Where do you sleep? Most of the time I sleep with my foster mom on her bed. But sometimes I'll sleep in my crate next to her bed.
Do you walk on a leash? I do walk on a leash. I love to go outside but I'm learning that outside noises are not scary.
Do you have any not so great habits? I am still a puppy and I love to chew. But my foster mom always has a bone for me to chew.
Are you housetrained? I'm pretty much housetrained. I will not go potty in my crate but if you do not let me outside real fast I might have an accident.
Do you like playing in water? I love water especially muddy water.
Do you like cats? I do love cats and I love to chase them.
What else do you want us to know about you? I'm a sweet girl who had a hard start in life and I'm making up for it now. I'm loyal and loving and love my foster brothers and sisters. I'm a patient laid-back cuddle bug. I would love to find a home that needs a companion dog. I'm learning that car rides are so much fun and I get to see the big world. I'm an amazing girl!
NorCal Bully Breed Rescue is a foster based rescue with foster homes spread all throughout the Sacramento area. We usually require our adopters to be within a 50 to 100 mile radius of us, depending on the dog, and depending on the home. This is because we need to do a yard check to guarantee that the potential adopter's yard is secure, and also have them be close enough should any behavioral issues arise, and the assistance of our trainer is needed. We are, however, willing to adopt out of our area, including the Bay Area, Tahoe, and even further. We've even adopted out of state on very special occasions. We try our best to match our dogs to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular dog. Our adoption fees are based on the dog and range from $200-$350. In the case of senior dogs (6+ years), fees will be waived to the right home. This includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and deworming (if necessary).
