Opie's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Opie's Story...
My name is Opie, and I am a friendly, loving, as well as handsome Maine Coon/ domestic medium hair mix fella with a big fluff of a tail and a cute Charlie Chaplin half moustache who was born in September 2016. Because I am so sweet and affectionate, my foster meowmy has me earmarked for the best home ever! I really love humans to shower me with all of the attention I deserve! Brush me! Pet me! Play with the feather toys with me! Feed me treats! I'm addicted to it all!
Because I get along with other kitties and dogs in my foster home too, there are many family scenarios in which I would fit in perfectly! So mosey on over to meet me so I can capture your heart. I bet you don't walk away without me!
Opie is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. His adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Opie, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Opie, a Fort Worth Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
