Spock is a striking Pom-x, who was given up because his family was moving. As he has not been well socialized and spoiled, he did not react well to being at the Animatch Centre. Gradually he is learning to trust the people around him and is becoming less reactive. We cannot stress enough how important it is to socialize a dog to assorted places and people. There are so many things to do with a dog -- join an agility group, participate in an obedience class, enjoy simple walks in the neighbourhood greeting neighbours along the way. Spock’s new guardian must not feed his imaginary fears; otherwise, he will become a snappy and untrustworthy dog. Spock needs an experienced guardian who will have the patience to work with him as he adapts to the changes in his life. He is a playful, bouncy, energetic fellow who would need lots of exercise. Although, he is okay with the other dogs at the Centre, Spock would do well in a home where he is the only pet. If you are looking for an affectionate dog with a tail that wags non-stop, please consider adopting Spock. He can be packed and ready to go in a flash. Please fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Spock.
