Lori's Story...
Meet Lori
Available for adoption in New England and the Midwest
Lori is a sweet, 8 month old black lab mix, weighing about 20 pounds. She has typical puppy energy and loves to run around and play with her foster doggy siblings. She also loves to fetch the ball, but then she turns it into a game of “Ha, ha, you can’t catch me!”, and runs around with the ball in her mouth. When Lori is done playing, she loves to snuggle with her people.
Lori is looking for an active family who would take her for long walks and play fetch with her. She would make a great running or walking partner. Lori would benefit from obedience training to help her with her leash walking skills and her house manners.
Lori is crate trained and housebroken. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm/tick preventative and is micro chipped.
If you are interested in this loving pup, please go to www.luckylabrescue.com and fill out an application indicating your interest in Lori in the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lori, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
