Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SAY HELLO TO CUTE "KK"
The pictures can be deceiving of her size. KK's foster Mom calls her "Peanut". This pint size 8 month old, short hair Terrier mix, is quite the catch.
She is timid, so give her 10 minutes when you first meet.
KK's future family must have:
*A dog that will match her play energy
*A fenced yard
*Willingness to crate her when the family is out (until she matures and earns her freedom)
*The ability to give her a break after 4-5 hours in the crate (she can not be crated the full working day)
Once you have KK's trust, she will dazzle you with her adorableness. She is very kissy and likes to put her head on your shoulder. In her foster home, she is equally happy with her human or her canine brother. If they can't entertain her, she will entertain herself. Any toy made of rubber is a good thing. She will toss and pounce and keep herself busy. She will sit and look out a window for a long time (with an occasional bark). If you have a bay window, that is major brownie points.
More about KK:
-Crate trained
-House trained
-Good with all dogs
-Does not guard food or toys
-Good in the car
-Good at vets (but a little nervous)
If you are thinking she won't be around long, you are correct. She is a young, social dog with a face that is a mood changer. If you qualify for KK, her foster Mom will call you. Thanks for considering a Nevieland rescue dog. Applications can be filled out online at www.nevielandrescue.com
