My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Born June 2016, Sammy is an active, fun-loving dog with brown on face, legs, and underside and black on back and tail. Adult weight should be around 60 pounds. Currently Sammy is working with a volunteer trainer several days weekly for basic manners, leash walking, and attending to the human's request. Sammy is crate trained. He enjoys tossing doggie toys in the air and then chasing the toy he tossed. Sammy's dream home would include outdoor activity like running or hiking with his person, ball fetching, Frisbee catching, and companionship with his family. A home with children ages 10 or older is suggested due to his size and energy. Sammy has been neutered, vet checked, vaccinated, and takes heartworm prevention. He is also microchipped. Sammy enjoys romping with other dogs at his foster home. He has also been exposed to cats and horses. Email petsavernc@bellsouth.net to meet Sammy.
