Sammy is a cute looking girl, with a loving and friendly temperament. She loves kids, will show affection to people she knew, only a little hesitant toward strangers. She gets along with dogs, and stays calm around cats. Sammy is very cuddly, she loves to give kisses and enjoys petting and hugs! Sammy will grow up to be a wonderful companion for anyone, especially for family with kids! Please watch her videos to learn how much she enjoys playing around young kids!

About Sammy’s rescue:
Sammy was abandoned at a marketplace along with her siblings. They managed to scrape out a living in the crowded and busy market, but could not escape the fate of being reported to animal shelter. Her brothers were taken away to serve as guard dogs for a factory, while Sammy and her sister Sandra were facing the imminent danger of being sent to a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, they were taken out of the market and then placed with foster home by a kind rescuer.

Sammy is doing very well in her foster home; she is spayed, with up to date vaccinations and microchip. She is ready for her forever home. We are looking for a family that understands the responsibilities of raising a puppy. Please give Sammy a loving home so she can enjoy a safe and happy life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a San Mateo Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in San Mateo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in San Mateo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Mateo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Mateo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Mateo paves the way for another one to be saved.
