Yeah heel toe do si do Come on baby let's go boot scootin' Oh cadillac blackjack baby meet me out back We're gonna boogie Oh, get down, turn around, go to town Boot scootin' boogie- from 'Boot Scootin' Boogie' by Brooks & Dunn
We have an adorable little guy who is looking to spread a little southern charm up north. He made it out of a scary high kill southern shelter and into the safety of rescue and a loving foster home. Blackjack is a very handsome 5 month old tricolored hound mix who currently weighs 20 lbs. We don't expect he is going to be a big guy when full grow, but around 35 to 40 lbs tops. Still perfect lap size (in our humble opinion anyway). With the help of his foster family, Blackjack has learned that there are people in the world who are good and kind. This shy little boy continues to gain trust and confidence in the world around him. He has learned quite a bit about actually living inside a warm cozy house. Foster mom says he has done wonderfully with his house training. He still needs a little guidance and positive reinforcement but for the most part he's got the pee pee line dance down. He is already crate trained and seems to find comfort in resting in his open crate (doggie version of a man cave?). Blackjack is awesome with his other fur siblings. Foster mom says he has learned quite a bit by taking his cues from his foster siblings. His quiet gentle nature makes him a good family member for homes with kitties. We think he would be best suited in a quieter home, even better if he can have a fur brother or sister to play with. He would be a great companion to older well behaved children who will shower him with lots of love and affection. Blackjack has learned that toys are a lot of fun and he quite enjoys playing with them. He has turned out to be quite the snuggle buddy and cuddler (thus the perfect lap size we spoke of). He loves a good belly rub and will happily watch anything on television you do, no judgements here. Blackjack is already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. This precious pooch is ready to do his own little heel toe do si do and do the boot scootin' boogie right in to your home and heart. So if you're ready then go ahead and get down, turn around and give him something to dance about for the rest of his life.
