Obi's Story...
**Obi is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His adoption fee is $500, which covers his flight to his new family, a travel kennel, and he is vetted.**

Obi is the perfect boy! He is very gentle and loving and loves to be with his people. He does great as a lap dog since he is still on the smaller side. He has been working on his leash walking skills and is doing fantastic! He knows sit and stay fairly well also. He is crate trained and loves to play with other dogs.

We believe Obi is a Blue Lacey / Doberman mix, about 4 months old and about 15 pounds.

**Obi is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and doing very well in his foster home. He is ready to find his family to complete his transformation. If our sweet boy sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information or to complete an adoption application please go to www.pawhuggers.org, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application. His adoption fee is $500 to help cover the cost of his airline flight and his travel crate.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Lacy/Texas Lacy/Doberman Pinscher for sale in Pittsburgh, or seeking a Blue Lacy/Texas Lacy/Doberman Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Pittsburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
