My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***URGENT! SHELTER DOG!***Hi there, my name is Joe and I am a 2 year old petite Rottie/Shep mix currently up for adoption at the North Central Shelter.

A little about me: I can be a little shy at first but I do warm up quickly. I am a young guy so I am pretty playful and get excited but I settle down. I walk well on a leash. I am a pretty submissive boy. I don't know how I do with other dogs because I have never had a kennelmate but I don't bark at other dogs when I walk through the kennel.

Likes:
*Making people laugh. I can get pretty silly when I run around and I like it when I make people smile or laugh.
*Long walks at sunset
*Cuddles and kisses. I admit it - I am an affectionate guy. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I like people to know I love them ( I know this is a big plus with the ladies).
*Treats - Of course I love my treats. There is a saying - a way to a man's heart is through his stomach and this is true for me.
*Long naps in the sun

Dislikes:
*People who walk by my kennel and don't stop to say hi.
*Not finding a loving home.
