My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Paris. And if you think the city of love itself is fabulous, wait til you meet me!

I'm not just a pup anymore, I'm 5. I'm over all that chewing stuff and those pottying in the house kinda tricks. Im a 10 pound pug chi mix, 12 inches tall and 18 long from nose to rear.

I've been loving my stay here with my fosters, they don't lock me in that kennel box! - (Glad they trusted I didn't need it, because that little box and being closed up makes me feel a little anxious!) I just lay around gathering beauty sleep most days while they're gone anyway. I sometimes get about to see what my foster brother is barking about, but I just don't have a need to bark at every squirrel I see like he does..

Speaking of him, we get along pretty well.. he understands that my space is with his human, and his space is being loud and rambunctious somewhere else ;) I bark at him when he gets too rowdy, so my fosters think I need a mostly calm and quiet place to set up my throne. I could have a sister or a brother, but would have to be sure we make a good team. They also said a I could use a family that wants to take me everywhere, as I bark to let them know I do not like it when they leave out the door without me. I get so excited when I see my leash or hear their car keys. I have short legs but I can walk forever. I love to greet the other people and dogs, love to sniff the flowers, wade in the streams, never pull, and the only thing I bark at is cars flying by. I just want them to know I'm walking here - but my foster has been distracting me from this habit lately, so I have been a bit better.

My teenage human fosters just love me, and I love to greet them with kisses, and sit right in their laps. They think I love them more, but say its because they feed me more scraps. I know its not helping my girlish figure, but I sure do love my treats! I can be a bit of a scaredy cat of new things and new people, and a big scaredy cat of thunder and lightning, but once I know its safe, I just want to be your shadow, your best companion. Do you, or someone you know, need a little princess to protect the throne by day and sweet snuggling body to keep warm with at night!
