Waffles's Story...
Waffles is as sweet as his name! This boy is about a year old, 45 pounds, housebroken, crate trained, loves other dogs, thinks cats are pretty cool, likes kids, gives big/wet/sloppy kisses and thinks he's a lap dog! Waffles was found as a stray and now thinks toys are the best thing in the whole world - next to treats of course! This sweet boy is being fostered in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add Waffles to your family, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application. You'll be happy you did and your family will LOVE him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waffles, a Allen Park American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Allen Park, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Allen Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allen Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allen Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allen Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
